I was gonna add all this in the updates section but I wanna elaborate a bit more than summarize.
As a distraction from missing my Dad and trying to keep my mind focused on fun stuff, I've been slowly working on the site redoing and making things... it has a fun splash page now! :D I'm also working on the main page more as well, I realize the bottom area is kinda nakee looking... unsure what to add there as of right now but it'll come to me when it's suppose to. I've been adding more png's around to make my page look more fun and plan to add tons more all throughout the site. Maybe even have a scavenger hunt at some point for user-interaction which would grant a site awayrd at the end maybe...? What do you guys think?
Hmmm...

Today's also my Dad's first heavenly birthday (he passed away this March for those who don't know) and I've been really struggling. Feeling flat out sad and angry, missing him and wishing he were still here with us getting to watch all his grandbabies grow and see what they've been accomplishing just these few short months he's been gone. I hate this so much. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dad... we miss you more and more each day it seems like.

School Rant.

So, our local public school district posted thier dress code and it states some pretty silly things that didn't pertain at all to when I went there (same district). I have to say, I'm so very glad I was going there when I was. It would be really nice if they'd focus more on their major bullying problem instead of worrying about if the clothing is "safe" for other kids.

They literally said this:
"Dress code guidelines regarding graphics - including skulls and crossbones - are designed to maintain a neutral, welcoming, consistent, and safe environment for all students. Because skull imagery is widely varied and can sometimes be linked to symbols of violence or gang affiliation, and more, enforcing a single, clear guideline ensures fairness across all campuses.
A straightforward standard eliminates guesswork for parents, students, and staff, allowing us to keep the focus on education."

See that? "safe environment for all students"
My son was literally bullied from kindergarten until I pulled him out to homeschool him in 3rd grade. I've gone to everyone I possibly could about it being handled and they had assured me it was being taken care of each time but it wasn't. It kept happening. I'm talking black eye, head slammed on a table, kneed in the face, and so on. Screw that school district. They only wanna appear as if they're a good school and care but reality is, they don't give a shit at all... they're only about how they appear on the outside. I've seen so many other parents in the past make comments regarding the same things as I'm stating and the things that have happened to their kids within this public school district.

Whatever. Not our problem anymore. *shrug*

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! ♡

Today I finally figured out how to make my blog appear inside my homepage using an iframe. It took a little tinkering, but I'm really happy with how it's coming together.
